[Silver is Silver is Silver. Upon finally waking up, he immediately tries to pull himself up... And it's a bad idea. His head spins. Despite the fact that he's awake, he's still very weak, and trying to act like he's not gave him a big reminder of that. He rethinks his actions and slowly pulls himself up into a seated position.
So where is he? What time is it? How long has he been out? ...Where's his journal? That's the most important thing right now, he has to-
There it is.]
[His handwriting is downright awful, but it's legible, especially since he's slow enough about it. And he only has one thing to say.]
Is it over yet? None of you died, right?
[The you is directed at the people he knows, but he is far too drained to make that distinction or ask much else. ...Might be a good idea to let him know just how late to the party he is.
Or visit him. There's always the visiting option, although that option might not be pretty; as long as it's been, it still doesn't change the fact that he more or less looks like he's about to die, like he won't open his eyes if he closes them again. He barely even has the energy to hold himself upright.
But company would be nice, especially since he's... Not exactly going anywhere. He has his Pokémon, of course, they're all but hovering over him because he's okay and he's finally awake (jeez guys, calm down,) and he even has Chandelure in his arms (because he needs to be reassured that everything's alright and that he Did Good,) but it would be reassuring to see that everyone's, you know. Okay.
And absolutely not the other way around, because he's totally just tired.
Yep.]

[At least one of his friends must be willing to back her up on this, yes? Ingo sure is.]
[action]
And I'd do it a million times over to keep someone from turning into one of those things [He would say getting that sick, but what happened to Moro is still heavily imprinted in his mind,] let alone die.
[action]
[This is the thing. The Thing she's worried about the most. Why the hell would he put himself on the line for her like that?]
[action]
[He rubs Chandelure's head a little to bring attention to his point.] I trust Chandelure.
[action]
You look terrible. You've been like this for a week.
[Despite the way she's pretty much growling this at him (inasmuch as birds ever growl), these are worried statements. Not angry ones.]
[action]
[action]
[This is going to become a theme. She can't seem to decide whether to be furious or grateful or weirded our or worried.]
[action]
[action]
I still don't understand. [Seems like she won't get much out of his explanation, either.]
[action]
[...Yep, he figured. Dizzy again. Easy, Silver. Lean back. Calm down. Drink something. He still has some of that apple juice, right? Yeah? He's drinking some of that.]
[action]
Then he's drinking something and she realizes she's probably embarrassed herself.]
I should go.
[action]
It's okay. [...] If you want, I won't stop you.
[action]
One that freezes her in place because she's finally taken notice of the thing around his neck.]
[action]
...Wants...?]
What? [Is there something on his face? What's that look for?
It's exactly what it looks like. The pendant she gave him months ago hangs on his neck, finally visible thanks to the lack of his jacket.]
[action]
You're...wearing it.
[action]
He gently reaches for it and fiddles with it a little.] I never take it off.
[action]
She clearly doesn't know how to handle this information. At all. Look, she's kind of blushing.]
[action]
I'm just sentimental about things like this, I guess. [Fiddle fidget. His smile is calm and genuine for once.]
[action]
But he's wearing the stupid pendant and has been for a while and- she looks at the floor.]
[action]
Are you okay?
[action]
You want me to go. [In the right context that is a question.]
[action]
[action]
I shouldn't...be so close.
[action]
[action]
Things...happen to people...I care about. That's all. [That is all. Period. Sleep or something, Silver.]
