[Silver is Silver is Silver. Upon finally waking up, he immediately tries to pull himself up... And it's a bad idea. His head spins. Despite the fact that he's awake, he's still very weak, and trying to act like he's not gave him a big reminder of that. He rethinks his actions and slowly pulls himself up into a seated position.
So where is he? What time is it? How long has he been out? ...Where's his journal? That's the most important thing right now, he has to-
There it is.]
[His handwriting is downright awful, but it's legible, especially since he's slow enough about it. And he only has one thing to say.]
Is it over yet? None of you died, right?
[The you is directed at the people he knows, but he is far too drained to make that distinction or ask much else. ...Might be a good idea to let him know just how late to the party he is.
Or visit him. There's always the visiting option, although that option might not be pretty; as long as it's been, it still doesn't change the fact that he more or less looks like he's about to die, like he won't open his eyes if he closes them again. He barely even has the energy to hold himself upright.
But company would be nice, especially since he's... Not exactly going anywhere. He has his Pokémon, of course, they're all but hovering over him because he's okay and he's finally awake (jeez guys, calm down,) and he even has Chandelure in his arms (because he needs to be reassured that everything's alright and that he Did Good,) but it would be reassuring to see that everyone's, you know. Okay.
And absolutely not the other way around, because he's totally just tired.
Yep.]

voice;
...Thanks. [It's been a week? ...Oh, well that... Explains a lot, actually...]
voice;
voice;
And then Sneasel and Murkrow crowded in front of the journal and Silver omg Silver sweets please please please--]
...They'd like that. [Please don't knock him over, guys.]
voice;
I can bring some over whenever you like, then!! Or I can give them to someone else to give you, if you're not up for visits, 'cause you probably - well, I don't know if you need to sleep, but you should eat and stuff?
Oh! And Sifu is okay, if you were asking about him. I mean, he's not dead. ...I don't know who else you wanted to know about in particular.
voice;
...He's too tired for this.]
I'd be okay with it. ...If you don't mind. [...] If you can. [He is impartial. So very impartial. Too impartial to think of whether or not this would actually be a good idea.]
voice;
...I don't actually know where you're at, though.
voice;
voice;
[ She's inferring from Ingo's last post, at least. ]
...Does Mr. Ingo even know you're awake...?
voice;
voice;
You should say something, silly!!!
I'll be over in, I dunno, an hour or two. So you have time to talk!!
[ because everyone can talk for that long, right?? ]
voice;
...Okay. [...Sneasel, can you help him out?
Regardless, he'll still be there in a couple of hours with a ghost chandelier in his lap, fiddling with a piece of candy. (Thanks for the candy, Gold.) Although he's pretty much not allowed out of bed, Ingo and Emmet will more than likely let her in and direct her towards his temporary room.]
action;
She also comes with Soren, since...she pretty much goes everywhere with Soren these days. Besides, logically a place full of trainers wouldn't mind if she brought along her own partner-best-friend-bird-thing, right?
So in comes an excitable small child. With sugar. This is clearly all he needs. ]
Hi!!! I brought the candy apples! Enough for everyone, I think! [ she might be obsessed with candy apples right now ]
action;
But both Murkrow and Sneasel stop what they're doing and rush over to Ikki when she mentions candy apples. Candy apples oh my god give them to us give them to us please please please.
Feraligatr's not fond of sweet things, so he remains passive and continues to lay down in a corner of the room. (He's too huge to be on his bed. Giant nine foot tall blue alligators, man.)]
...Thanks. [Silver's a little more awake now and can actually sit up and give her his attention... But he still looks completely awful. White as a sheet, dark eyes, about to collapse any second now- the works. It's not a pretty sight.]
action;
She's going to go sit by the bed and uncover the tray in her lap. The candy apples set aside for the Pokemon are cut up into manageable pieces, but Silver himself is going to just get a full one handed over to him after the Pokemon portions are handed out. Which. Is an ongoing process, since she brought way too much.
He...really does look awful, but Ikki seems okay with that. She did help Grune pass out sweets to the returning draftees, and while it's not happy, she's sort of...acclimated. She's also sort of acclimated to huge weird pokemon, so Feraligatr just gets occasional glances instead of flat out staring. 8| ]
It wouldn't be fair if you missed all the Halloween things! It...actually was pretty fun, you know? I guess people were worried 'cause bad things have happened before, but beside the...you know, it was good.
[ The draft. 8| Ikki gives Silver a curious glance. ] What was it that made you go to sleep for so long?
action;
Like candy apples. Both Murkrow and Sneasel continue to be enthused... Until she asks what happened. Then they go quiet and switch to more concerned looks. Chandelure in particular looks pretty unsettled as he shifts around in Silver's lap, but Silver pats him reassuringly.
He takes a long and deliberate pause to consider his words carefully. To think of just how much he should describe.]
I had to do something kinda dumb to keep people from getting hurt. [In the end, being vague wins the day.] It drained a lotta energy out of me, so I fell asleep for a while.
[But it was better than death or infection, and that's what matters.]
action;
However curious she is about specifics, it's...probably best to move on. ]
...Soooooo, you trained Sifu, right? [ blatant topic change to...the first thing to come to mind. ]
action;
Yeah, I did. ...Still do sometimes. [He'll gladly take this topic change. It doesn't tread into as uncomfortable territory.]
action;
1/2
I had to make him learn strategy, too. There's a lot to know about Pokémon.
action;
That's the biggest part of having a Pokémon, no matter what the two of you do.
action;
But when Silver says the most important thing, Ikki relaxes a little, grinning. She may not be in sync with Soren during battles, when her being seven and very much less experienced than him and the third in a successive series of trainers gets in the way of Soren listening at times, but she's never had any trouble trusting or caring for him.
But then, she'd sort of started out considering him one of her best friends rather than a pokemon. Which was...typical. ]
I met Soren my very first day here, you know! [ Soren gets an apple slice while Ikki talks, smiling. ] Soren and Chien! I don't think Chien meant to come and see me, except Soren saw me bending air, and so he came and showed me he was an airbender, too!
...I know that's not what to call it. Flying pokemon, right? But, that's how I always thought of him. And whenever I met up with Chien, Soren would show me what he'd learned, and I'd show him what I learned. It was always really fun, spending time with both of them.
[ And that's always been the easy part. ] I think we're getting better at the simulations Sifu has us run, though, right, Soren? Although I guess we need to work on herding things. [ ...and other things...well, no helping that. ] And Soren gets to go to airbending practice with me, too.
action;
He's not sure if it was better or worse for him to go home (on one hand, being in his world, on the other hand, being with his family...) but it's good that Ikki, Soren, and Chien all spent time together beforehand.
And he knows of airbending. He knows of it from Aang. Not too much about it, but, well... It might make it easier for her to have a flying-type. He's still not very happy about the fact that Masaomi thought it was a good idea to start training a seven year old, but what can he do? There's nothing he can do but trust and try to support everyone involved.]
That's the way it should be. You two are gonna be partners now. [...] If there's anything you wanna know or anything I can do to help, I'm here, alright?
[Because he can help. It's the least he can do. He's not about to put her through anything crazy, but the point is still there.]
action;
But there is one of those ridiculous childish questions she'd asked Masaomi that he hadn't been able to answer, and now is as good a time as ever. So, if she has to pick one question... ]
If a pokemon holds a pokeball with a pokemon in it and goes into a pokeball, what happens?
[ ...obviously she's picking the one that completely doesn't match the mood of that offer.
But inquiring minds need to know! ]
