[Silver is Silver is Silver. Upon finally waking up, he immediately tries to pull himself up... And it's a bad idea. His head spins. Despite the fact that he's awake, he's still very weak, and trying to act like he's not gave him a big reminder of that. He rethinks his actions and slowly pulls himself up into a seated position.

So where is he? What time is it? How long has he been out? ...Where's his journal? That's the most important thing right now, he has to-

[His handwriting is downright awful, but it's legible, especially since he's slow enough about it. And he only has one thing to say.]

Is it over yet? None of you died, right?

[The you is directed at the people he knows, but he is far too drained to make that distinction or ask much else. ...Might be a good idea to let him know just how late to the party he is.

Or visit him. There's always the visiting option, although that option might not be pretty; as long as it's been, it still doesn't change the fact that he more or less looks like he's about to die, like he won't open his eyes if he closes them again. He barely even has the energy to hold himself upright.

But company would be nice, especially since he's... Not exactly going anywhere. He has his Pokémon, of course, they're all but hovering over him because he's okay and he's finally awake (jeez guys, calm down,) and he even has Chandelure in his arms (because he needs to be reassured that everything's alright and that he Did Good,) but it would be reassuring to see that everyone's, you know. Okay.

And absolutely not the other way around, because he's totally just tired.

Everyone here isn't that worse for wear. We got the clean end of the stick back here.

[He hesitates in asking, because it was obviously traumatic, but stuff like that is still important.]

[He comes a bit later, since he's picking up Pokémon food for your party. Sure, Ingo probably has some, but Green's are fairly vitamin-rich and nutritious and your Pokémon need a good diet. As for you, Silver, he's sure that Ingo can handle your diet.

He knocks on the doorframe before entering.]

Hey. I'm sure you've had nonstop visitors all day.

[A good diet... For his Pokémon.

Yeah, he's doing a stellar job of that right now- he's sharing some of the sea of junk food he's accumulated with them right as Green walks in. He and Sneasel in particular are sharing a cupcake.

Great diet choices.

It takes Silver a moment to turn to look at Green. He... He thought he was done with visitors. Apparently not...]

...Yeah. One after another.

[FROWNING AT THAT CUPCAKE... okay no no time for that.]

I'm sure you're ready to just get back to resting.

Being awake's not gonna make me recover any faster. [But he can talk. Sure. What's another visit in the long run?]

[True, so he'll try and keep things relatively brief.]

So what exactly was going on out there?

[...Alright. He knew this was coming.]

It was a giant draft in another enclosure. People from a bunch of different enclosures were drafted, too- one of them was Kin'cora.

Then some [disease? illness?-] infection started spreading like wildfire. It made people ill, then violent, then pushed their bodies to their absolute limits. It was all too easy to catch.

That draft turned into a losing battle and a fight for survival.

[Green nods, taking in the information.]

You left early, right?

[Nod.] There was nothing else we could do.

Right. If it was a spreading disease, there's no way for you to have contributed in combating something like that. It was better to get out of there.

Why exactly were you out for so long?

[...]

We ran into trouble on our way out and had no way to defend ourselves. I ended up giving part of my life energy to Chandelure to save us. [Go ahead and say it, Green. Say how that was stupid and reckless and whatever. Go on. Echo everyone else.]

Really? What was the layout of the scene like?

[He turns, in order to see what Silver says. He won't pass judgment until he knows more, Silver.]

Ingo and I hadn't slept well. Our Pokémon were completely spent. We found Raven, who had a limp and was fending off one of them. Those infected people.

We managed to help her out, but the commotion attracted more attention. Two... [...] No, three of them came after us. I wasn't about to take any chances.

I lost count of how many we burned through before reaching the evac.

[Green's quiet, for a bit, tracing a finger against his palm to 'draw' the scene for himself. He thinks about it...]

Makes sense. It was a risky move. They were highly contagious, you said? That would imply that physical contact was extremely dangerous. Am I wrong?

That's right. [Green... Isn't judging him about this?] One wrong hit could be game over. It's a fate worse than death.

Then it sounds like you took the most efficient course of action.

[Not unlike a Pokémon using Belly Drum or Explosion. Green doesn't seem to realize that anyone else had been saying it was dumb or wrong to take that action - as far as he can tell, it wasn't a wrong one to take when he couldn't find an alternative in under 30 seconds.]

Do you regain that life energy you spent?

[...He doesn't hear that second part for a while. He simply stares at Green. He dismissed it so easily. Where's the rest of that statement? Where's the scolding and telling him that he has to do better?]
